Database for tracking singles?

Has anyone developed a database for keeping track of singles?
There is weekly turnover in my YSA ward, including a large influx every summer, and a large departure in the fall. We have each new member fill out an information sheet. And in case they move away and later return, we keep these sheets for reference. This process could be so much more effective with a database.
