LDS Church Software Engineer

I have been employed with the Church since March of 2006. During that time I have worked on projects for Facilities and the Travel Department. Most recently I took over the lead of Global Visa Management (GVM) which was used to manage travel documentation needs for missionaries and other travelers.

Before working for the Church I worked with Java web application development for 4 years at both Northrop Grumman and Cerberian. For two years I worked with Enterasys where I lead the automation testing of routers and switches. For five years I worked at Autoliv Inc. in their Engineering, Research and Development organization designing components to airbags, machinery and tools for manufacturing airbag components.

I enjoy many different technologies but lately I have grown an interest in the RIA frameworks like Flex and JavaFX. I am currently a Co-Manager of the Flex User Group that meets in downtown Salt Lake City.
