Unable to setup Account for family member

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. Unable to setup Account for family member

My son wants to have his own LDS gospel account so he can mark his scriptures and make notes separately, however, when I try to setup account it won't let me use my phone number for recovery. My son doesn't have his own phone. I tried using a google voice number but the verification never came through. Is there another way?

This is exactly my situation. Haven’t tried a virtual #. I set up accounts for all my other kids years ago- before they even had phones so they could do indexing. Following- Please Advise.

I saw in another post today that google voice is not supported for LDS Account setup (can't recall which one exactly at the moment). You should use the feedback link as suggested, or perhaps your ward or stake technology specialist can assist.

You don't have to use a phone number for recovery. Just enter an email address and leave the phone number blank.

need help setting up account, thought i did but not sure, cause when i put in user name it will not come up and when i try to recover it tells me it cant recover with this account and when i try to enter a new account with user name it tells me already used? please help

Please use the Feedback button/link to request help/support. As has already been mentioned in this thread/topic, this is a user-to-user discussion forum, not an official help/support request channel.

Alternatively, please check the announcement thread/topic in this (the "LDS Account") forum. It describes a couple of alternate methods to request help.
