Standard Callings List?
Is there a list of standard callings that could be rented out? I seem to recall seeing one but can't find it now. Our bishopric often sustains someone in a calling that doesn't exist and I would like to give them a list of standard callings to refer to. (For example yesterday a sister was called be be Relief Society Chorister, instead of the standard Relief Society Music Leader.)

There's a list here, but it hasn't been updated for about a year:

The list in the Wiki to which sbradshaw linked is over a year old, as he said, and includes positions that were recently discontinued due to the consolidation of priesthood quorums and the implementation of Ministering. Otherwise, it appears to be a pretty good and complete list.zaneclark wrote:Is there a list of standard callings that could be rented out?
The best list of standard callings of the type you mentioned is in Handbook 2, chapter 19. If I had a nickel for every time I said "The Handbook calls that position . . ." in a bishopric of other leadership meeting, I would have been able to retire in high style.
