Fast Offering - Housing documents

When gathering documents during an audit, what is the minimum requirement for Fast Offering housing expenses? Do we just need a copy of the lease or rental agreement to be in compliance during the audit?

In the Help Center is just says 'Proof of the expense should be attached to the form. Original documents are preferred, if possible. These could include sales receipts, bills, or invoices.'.

In practice, we've generally obtained a copy of the lease and have never had problems in the audit on that point. If you can't get an actual lease or rental agreement then you should try for a receipt or letter from the landlord indicating the rent amount and that the FO recipient is responsible for it.

Often times it is easier to obtain the lease or rental agreement, but in many cases in our ward the clerk or a member of the bishopric delivers the rent payment directly to the landlord for the member and we ask for a receipt at that time that we attach to the expense form.

I get a copy of the lease. We've also used emails from the landlord with the rent amount and month on it.
