The handbook says they should be kept “as long as they are needed for administrative, legal, and historical purposes.”
Is their a more specific guideline for food orders, finances, and membership records?
Thank You,

For finances, each country has very specific guidelines as to how long records are kept. In the US, it's 3 years plus the current year. MLS enforces this limit, and automatically deletes records as the 4th year rolls around. I would think that food orders are in the financial realm, so the same time limits should apply.
But for the other records, you won't find anything more specific that that general statement. Destroy them when they're no longer needed.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
