I have used the same login name since the very early days. I have not changed my password recently, However I am having problems. Every time I log into churchofjesuschrist.org I am sent a verification code---everytime. I am beyond frustrated. Please explain to me what to do to keep this from happening.

You likely have "Two-Step Verification" turn on on your account. You can go to account.churchofjesuschrist.org and see if you can change it.
I believe two-step is required for certain callings and positions due to the amount of sensitive information they have access to.
