Paying into ward mission fund in Puerto Rico

#1

Post by rperea »

I live in Puerto Rico, and am able to pay my tithing online, however cannot pay into the ward missionary fund. The elder's name does not come up. I tried entering the ward number in under "donate to another ward or branch" but that did not work either.

You might check with your ward clerk. If his financial responsibility is not assigned to your ward, there will not be an account for him. Also, the accounts don't show up until closer to their mission departure date so if he has not left yet that may be the reason.

If it is too early for his account to be set up, you can donate to the ward mission fund and let your clerk or bishop know - they can transfer the amounts to his sub-account when it is set up.
