Meetinghouse Remote Management Issues

#1

Post by bartj »

We are currently experiencing problems related to remote management of meetinghouse networks via Technology Manager in United States and Canada. Church networking is aware of the problem and are working on the problem. This will impact the special purpose and facility zones and the ability to manage (enable/disable) APs through TM.

We have resolved a lot of the remote management issues experienced earlier today but some do still persist. These issues will present themselves in Technology Manager in the following ways:

- unable to ping facility or Special Purpose Zone(s)
- Cisco 702 and 1041 access points show "Not Found" for the controller name

We will continue troubleshooting these issues until they are resolved.

Several problems were experienced recently that may impact your ability to enable or disable access points through TM. It is believed these issues have been resolved, however, residual issues may be encountered. If you experience problems, please contact the Global Service Center at 1-855-537-4357 for additional support.

We had stake conference today and even though we disabled the AP's in the TM console they were still up and running and impacting our stake conference broadcast stream. We had to manually pull the network cables.
