Financial Audit: Failed protection check

#1

Post by michaelfish »

Part of the financial audit is to visit a church website link to see if it is properly protected from harmful and unauthorized internet access.

One of the computer failed the test.

What is the church website link which checks to see if it is properly protected?

http://filter.lds.org

If using a bookmark make sure only the URL address above is used. If the test is run and then bookmarked the results page is what is bookmarked. This will lead to the same results each time regardless of whether the filter is working correctly or not. Typing in the URL address instead of using a bookmark is the best assurance of a valid test.

I called the Global Service Center, who upgraded my firewall to the new Internet content filter, and now the filter check works.

The address is listed in one of the early notes/questions of the audit form. The audit form is available in MLS, as well as on the audit website.
