Updates to callings

#1

Post by samundsen »

I have been a new High Council member for about a month. My calling is updated in the MLS and I confirmed that with the Stake Clerk. But I still do not show up and the High Councilor I replaced is still listed even though he has been deleted at our local level. Just wondering how we can fix the problem.

Have the stake clerk follow Correcting duplicate or missing callings.

It might work better to have him remove the old person, sync, and then add you and sync.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

[Moderator note: This thread was moved from the General Discussions forum to what I can best determine is the appropriate forum.]

Where are you seeing the calling information displayed? I assume it is in the online directory, correct? Based on the time period you describe there was a problem with MLS information updating CDOL. CDOL is the source of calling position data for the Directory as well as Leader and Clerk Resources.

I recommend you contact your stake clerk and ask him to check what is in CDOL. If the previous high councilor is listed there and you are not, then the stake clerk should follow the procedures in Correcting duplicate or missing callings.
