Access to web services restricted

Just to put some closure on the question raised at the top of this thread, we now have
authoritative wordthat going forward, access to the LDS Account-authenticated web services will be restricted to officially sponsored Community apps.

If you're going to "block" it for others than I suggest using an internal API key structure like any other oAuth application. Or get rid of this URL:
https://lds.org/directory/services/ludr ... &_type=xml
Every endpoint to access all data related to the LDS account via API...
I still think you should have a limited version available to third parties, but that's my 2c.
