Interpreting the TM Dashboard

I need a little help understanding something. One of my firewalls is online, and the FAC will ping, but for the life of me, I cannot get Internet service at the meetinghouse, and all four of the WiFi access points show Failed.

Where do I start?

I'd make sure things are plugged into the right ports. 1&2 are the standard stuff. 3 is for the FHC (if you have one), 4 is for FM-type stuff. Ports 1-3 have DHCP. I don't think Port 4 does. IIRC, port 4 is the one closest to the modem port, not the farthest.

I would make sure you're not running a custom DNS, since the firewall will (or is supposed to) filter out any calls to any but authorized DNS as part of it's filtering system.

Barring the obvious, I'd call support and let the wizards see what they can find.

Someone unplugged the 24-port switch. That will do it. The FAC doesn't go through the switch, so the ping still worked.

I don't know who does these things. And perhaps it is better if I do not know. [sigh]

I don't want to see Dashboard when I login to the church website. How do I get out of Dashboard and see the original Home page?
Thank you
Sis. Swift

Which dash board are you referring to? You've posted on a thread about Technology Manager, which Technology Specialists use. I'd suggest you look at what shortcut you're using.
