Old Young Women still show up in Personal Progress

#1

Post by geek »

Girls who have graduated from high school and who are now 18 or 19 still show up in the Personal Progress page. None are in the Laurels class; all appear in the Relief Society organization. How can they be removed from the PP tracker?

Thanks...

From the Personal Progress Online Questions and Answers:
How do I add or remove a young woman from the Leader Summary page?
You cannot manually add or delete a young woman from Personal Progress online. Since membership data is used to populate records, those names will appear when a young woman turns 12 and remain in view until she turns 19 or when her records are transferred to another ward (regardless of marital status or whether or not she is still attending Young Women).
Apparently, Personal Progress doesn't use the organization information - only the membership record. This may have to do with when it was developed. Organization information hasn't always been available to CHQ. In the beginning, it was only in MLS on the local ward computer.

According to Handbook 2: 10.1.5, a female joins YW at page 12 and "By age 19, each young woman should be fully participating in Relief Society". So if it only has the membership record, the best it can do is include all 12 to 19 year old women.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

We figured this out today accidentally - one of the young women turns 19 today and dropped off the list.
