A newer thing. I have a couple of Lenovos installed a year ago or so that came that way.

The current professional thinking is that regular changes are no longer "best practice". I've not heard anything about moving to individual logins for users. Forcing a change of passwords on a shared account is just asking for trouble. So, that was my personal justification for making the new computers like the old ones.

Edit: I did check the help center for policy regarding accounts and passwords, but couldn't find anything that suggested indivaiul Windows accounts or regular password changes.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Same here. As soon as complaints started pouring in of password change requirements, every clerk PC got this policy changed back to the way it was.
