I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere, or may be mentioned in Handbooks,
but we need to remove the names of deceased Branch members and, who is able to do this?

The Branch clerk/membership clerk. In the case of a member, they just record the death. In the case of a non-member spouse, they need to record the termination of the marriage.

You will need to provide the date of death to your clerk. The date can often be found in on-line obituaries, mortuary web pages etc.
