Tithing across country borders

#1

Post by tonyrayton »

I tried paying my tithing/donations online via the Church web site. As our records are in Spain while we are living here, it wants me to pay in euros to a local bank account, I want to pay from my English account in England, there appears to be no way of changing it from the Spanish to my English account online. Please help. Thank you.

I moved your message to a new topic since it wasn't related to the thread it was posted on.

There are established procedure for expatriates from the United States continuing to make donations from a US account after their records are moved to another country. There may be a similar process for your situation. I would have your ward clerk contact the Global Service Center to find out whether there is a way to accommodate this.
