Ministering assignment report

#1

Post by DavidDressman »

Is there a way to print off the ministering assignments for the ministering brothers in Elder's Quorum ? It would have the companions, the families they visited and list the members of the families with the birthdates. We used to print this out for our old home teaching assignments. I can't find the new report if one even exists. It just beats having to hand write these or create them using some other software.

Select Organizations > Ministering > Elders Quorum from the LCR menu, click on the Companionships tab and then click Print. In the drop down dialog select the Assignments option and whether to include contact information and then click the Print button in the dialog.

This is good for the priesthood/Elders Quorum who have access to LCR menu - What about sister members? How do we find our assignments?

Not all elders have access to LCR. It is only available to leaders and the Relief Society presidency. Those who do not have those callings, elder or sister, do not have access.

If you use LDS Tools, however, you should be able to select your name in the Directory and see your ministering assignments under the Ministering tab.

See question 16 in the Misistering FAQs
How do members receive their ministering assignments?

Leaders meet with ministering brothers and sisters—preferably as companionships—to share their assignments with them and to counsel about the strengths, needs, and challenges of those to whom they minister. This conversation could take place in a ministering interview (see question 20, below) or whenever needed.
If the leadership is expecting you to look it up, they're doing it wrong.

It depends on what you mean. Minsters are to have interviews with the leadership. Leaders can mark that they've had the interview in LCR.

Ministering is supposed to be reported in person to your organization leader. I would expect if you have some information that needs to be channeled to the EQ or RS presidency or to the bishop, you should contact them as soon as you learn of it. Otherwise, they should contact you to set up an interview of your stewardship at least quarterly.

There is no way for individual members to report their ministering activities online.

I can't find the link to the quarterly ministering report. In LDS Tools, the only quarterly ministering report is for 2Q 2019 (April to June). I still need to complete the form for some of the interviews I've conducted in 1Q 2019. Can you point me to the link and provide a quick explanation. Thanks.

LDS Tools only shows current quarter. You can enter previous quarter Ministering Interviews online in LCR (lcr.churchofjesuschrist.org). Click on the Ministering tab and select Current Assignments. Find the drop-down showing Current Quarter and change it to Previous Quarter.
