Tax Donation Form?

We have a member that provided use of equipment for a fundraising event. The member asked instead of payment is there a form we can give him for tax purposes to receive a write-off credit for the amount he would normally charge for this equipment. Do we have anything like that available? Thank you.

Not that I've heard of. I suppose the Bishop could write a letter thanking the member for the use of the equipment, but I'd avoid placing any kind of dollar amount. Just indicate what was donated.

I think the only way to do that would be for him to actually give the ward an invoice, have the ward cut a check and then he can donate the money back.
