Patriarchal Blessing Recommendations

When Bishops in our stake go to submit a recommendation for a Patriarchal Blessing, the Patriarch's contact information doesn't populate on the submission like it should. How can we fix that?

That MLS quirk was brought to my attention several years ago. The contact information for the patriarch is only auto-populated if the patriarch lives in your ward. All other units in the stake must manually enter his address and telephone number, and then print the recommendation, whether you need to print it or not. The act of printing the recommendation saves his contact information in MLS, so that it will appear the next time you want to create a recommendation form. Where do you go to find the Patriarchal Blessing electronic recommends?

As far as I know, they are only available in MLS at this time. Go to Reports and Forms.

Your stake president has to have turned on the patriarchal blessing electronic recommend system for your stake. Some have not yet done so.

Does anyone know how to request a copy of your patriarchal blessing for an excommunicated member?

I think you lose all your blessings including the Patriarchal blessing when you're excommunicated.
