Christus Statue Disappearing on Favicon

For a while now, the church has been replacing the Christus statue favicon with a blue blob favicon as pages on the site get reworked. I've always found it uplifting and a good reminder of where I was when I'd see the Christus statue favicon when I'm on the church website. Does anyone here know why the change is being made? Did someone consider it irreverent or something like that? I know we often times don't know why the church does things, so maybe there's no answer. FWIW, I submitted feedback that I miss it
