Missionary myldsmail.net limitations

My daughter is a new missionary and we're trying to figure out what the limitations are on her myldsmail.net account so we can determine the best way to use it.

Does anyone know what these limits are?

For example, sending to a group of BCC: recipients was failing so I tried to set up a Google Group, which should allow her to send her messages to just one email address and they'd get distributed to a larger family group. But everyone with a myldsmail.net address in that group shows "Not allowed" under posting. Under Posting Permission for those accounts it says: "Web posting has been disabled for this member by their domain administrator."

So, the admin of myldsmail has disabled the ability send a message to a Google Group. It's also failing to get delivered when she puts people in the BCC: field.

Any thoughts on the best way to make sure her emails get delivered? I'm seeing other missionaries send to large numbers of contacts in the To: field, but I'd like to avoid that, if possible.

Guilroo,
Many of us here in the forum are members like yourself, trying to help, and not church employees or software developers. While a software tech in the department over MYLDSMAIL may see it here, it's more likely they will not see it. And as a three time missionary dad, we've tried lots of ways to get their email updates out to friends, neighbors, and the ward.
I have no experience in the BCC use of MYLDSMAIL, as my missionaries put the addresses they want in the TO: field, and it handles 8 or more addresses. Then, I maintain a group on my gmail of those additional people who have requested his updates, and I forward his "big email" to them myself, every week, using the BCC so as not to "share" the personal emails of everyone to the whole group. It just takes a few minutes. I figure this method lets him concentrate more on missionary work and less on trying to email everyone he might know. My sisters do this same thing with their missionaries.

And Privacy!
I tried a private blog for one of my kids, but found I was most comfortable with my email updates. I'm not sure our missionary children are always thinking of what is appropriate to share... or if they know once they share an item, they have little control over where it might be shared again online by others. My son's mission actually prohibited the sharing of any member / investigator photos without the express permission of those in the picture, due to a lawsuit brought about in that mission by an individual when a photo of him was shared online. The safety of missionaries is also paramount- schedules, apartment addresses, and daily routines of missionaries should really be kept confidential for their safety.

As for a broader description of other limitations, and a small discussion about the purpose of MYLDSMAIL and why these limitations might exist, this thread might help:
