Stake Conference Webcast

Not sure exactly what we need to do a webcast from one building to another. It seems there is a lot of discussion and a lot of different ideas but what is the best straight forward way to broadcast from one building to another for stake conference. The distance is about 13 miles apart if that makes any difference. It looks like the technology is changing fast but we don't have the capability to seat everyone and two sessions makes for a long day.

Thanks

Spend time in the Wiki, Kurt Olsen and team have done a fantastic job with their solutions, providing guidance and direction, many other teams in IT could benefit by following his example. But it is laid out really well. You might ask around to see if another stake or your FMG has access to a webcaster unit for your first time. It is a turn-key solution, turn it on, plug a few things in and away you go.

I would suggest going a bit basic for your first time, if you have plenty of time before the conference, you could get into multiple cameras, text overlay, etc... but you'll want to start with just streaming the audio/video --> get that down solid, then move on to other things.
