Anyone have it handy, we had a cable outage this AM and could not transmit as I thought it was built in to MLS, (my bad)?

I don't have the list, but 18884137028 will work within the U.S.
Note that just above the phone number in system options is a setting:
Connection: Use Modem / Use Internet / Auto Detect
If it's set to "Use Internet" it will NOT use the dial-up number.

Re: MLS dial up number
In reference to the RKATS article on MLS Dial-up Transmissions—AT&T Numbers:
https://www.lds.org/callings/melchizede ... s?lang=eng
I tested my stake MLS using the suggested "United States Nationwide toll free" number in the article, prefixed with a "T". As with my earlier test a few months ago, the stake computer locked up completely. No mouse. No keyboard. No blinking lights.
This also happens with ward MLS computers around my stake. So I would say MLS dial-up is dead.
Your mileage may vary.

If we're talking OptiPlex 740 running WinXP, we're in agreement. That's been my experience as well. Never did solve that problem.drepouille wrote:So I would say MLS dial-up is dead.
It's related to Sophos since uninstalling it allows it to work.
