Other LDS Forums? food storage question

Post by lomondview »

Any other LDS forums out there since this one isn't for gospel principle discussion?

Got a question about food storage, like is it supposed to be like 1 Kings 17 - Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath, or is it supposed to be like for realsies / on the real / like each family will live on that supply for 12 months - or is it like we consecrate it via the law of consecration - at, say the nearest stake center or Temple, and then take only what we need - or is it like we can provide meals for our neighbors during disasters like LDS people with food storage did in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina?

The only official channel for asking questions about church principles and doctrines is talking with your bishop and local leaders.

However, if you're looking for an informal discussion among members, you could try the LDS.net forums (sponsored by the More Good Foundation – not an official Church site) or various Facebook groups that members have created. For more academic questions and responses, I've found the website Christianity Stack Exchange to be helpful.
