Getting signed out while composing an article

#1

Post by gksargent »

Once I completed composing a new article, and tried to publish it, I was taken to the login screen. I tried going back, but all my work was gone. I ended up typing the article in a word processor and copying/pasting into the newsletter interface. After successfully posting a few shorter articles, I'm assuming the issue is with a timeout setting.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Perhaps the timeout (if that is in fact the problem) setting should be set to begin after a few minutes of no typing.

This is quoted from the Newsletter help documentation:
Newsletter: Creating Articles, Session Time-out and Formatting wrote:The newsletter session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, so for longer content, you may want to compose the article in a text editor first, such as Microsoft Word or Notepad, and then transfer it to the newsletter editor.
