LDS Tools for BlackBerry has been discontinued.

Is that just as of today? Are Gospel Library and Mormon Channel for BlackBerry still around?

Yes, Gospel Library and Mormon Channel applications are still available for download. I have not tested them recently so I don't really know if the back end services they rely on are still supported or not.

Yes. I believe Hal is working on that now.

sad to hear... but I might be one of the few that was still using it. I tried the apk from Google play store but didn't work either. Any suggestions besides the browser since I don't have data on my phone?

At the time I write this, there are Android and iOS versions of LDS Tools but no other platforms. The directory on lds.org will export a ward list to a pdf document. Those are the only options I can think of at the moment.

I have been using updated LDS tools on my Blackberry 10 device up until early this year when I was no longer able to sign in. (This was an install from the Google Play store). I have deleted it and tried downloading the app from the amazon app store but still get an error saying "LDS Tools Services are unavailable" Perhaps I misunderstood but I thought the LDS tools app was an android app similar to other android apps I can now install on my blackberry (using Play store of Amazon app store). Has something changed that means this android app will no longer work with a Blackberry device?

This forum is for support of the native blackberry app. The Android LDS Tools should be able to be installed on newer blackberry devices. You should use the Android support forum for questions about the Android app running on a newer Blackberry devices. I personally know of no reason why the services should be unavailable. Please ask on the Android support forum and include the version of LDS Tools you have installed.
