Incorrect last name on Household view

Hi,

I'm the ward clerk in our ward. We have a sister that went through a divorce. After her member records were updated, LDS Tools began doing something odd. When you open her record in the Household view, her name is correct like "Jane Doe (32)", but the name of the household at the top of the record is her ex-husband's last name, like "Smith". The interesting thing and perhaps helpful, is that she never took her husband's last name when married, and LDS Tools never did this before the divorce.

Who do I need to talk to to get this fixed for her?

Have you gone through all the views in the membership section of LCR to see if the ex-husband's last name is showing up anywhere in there? What does her 'perferred name' field show in the 'Individual' tab? In the 'Household' tab, is she perhaps still listed as being in the ex-husband's household?

If none of the tabs in LCR for her member profile show the ex-husband's name, but his name is still showing up in LDS Tools, then you should probably ask your stake clerks, because they have the charter to train and assist the ward clerks. If that does not result in a solution, a call to the clerk support line may be in order.

Check her household name. When she was split off her husband's household it may not have updated the household name correctly.

Go to her member profile in LCR, select the Household tab and then click the Edit Household Name button at the bottom of the screen.

Yes, we'd gone through LCR and LDS Tools thoroughly. Eblood66's advice did the job. The ex-husband's name did not show up anywhere in LCR *except* inside the Edit Household Name button after you clicked it. Problem solved.
