What does "Mark as not recorded" mean on the monthly reports?

Re: Visiting Teacher Report
Each sister (for VT) or household (for HT) starts out in the state of being not recorded. Then it can be marked as Visited or Not Visited. Generally you simply mark a sister or household as Visited or Not Visited for the month and you're done. But if you make a mistake and mark them as Visited or Not Visited and then discover you don't reliably know the status of that visit yet, you can choose "Mark as not recorded" to return it to the original unrecorded state.1marquisstanley wrote:What does "Mark as not recorded" mean on the monthly reports?

Re: Visiting Teacher Report
This is something recently added. Before there was just "visited" and "other". You had no way of knowing if someone was "not visited" or if you just hadn't gotten the report yet. Now you do.

This is what the input looks like for me in LCR.
Like what was said previously "Mark as Not recorded" is the best option if the VT/HT was not reported back to the supervisor.

Yes. And everyone starts that way. The button lets you return to the "not recorded" (blank) option if someone erroneously marked that the person or family was or was not visited, and that turns out to be incorrect.kellymab wrote:Like what was said previously "Mark as Not recorded" is the best option if the VT/HT was not reported back to the supervisor.
