Sending Emails

#1

Post by stanmoore1 »

Is there a way for a member of the ward who are not clerks, executive secretaries, etc. to send out an email to the entire ward?

For example, in our YSA ward we have a member called to be a Communication Specialist. They are in charge of notifying the ward of activities and announcements. How can they email the ward if they don't have access to Leader/Clerk Resources?

Thanks

Using the Directory on lds.org, any member can select "Ward Organizations"; within that area is a group called "Adults", at the top of that page is a link for "Email all Adults" which will send a message to all adults.

Note that this feature does use your computer's email client to send the message. Also note that sending to such a large group may possibly alert some spam filters, so you may need to break up the recipient list into smaller chunks.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
