New Directory: Small vertical height doesn't work well

So far, my use of the new directory had been on large or very large monitors. I happen to be using it on laptop today, so my screen area is a little less. I notice that the side bar where it shows the membership and individual/family details takes up a lot of vertical space for it to work correctly. If the height of your window is limited, it's a challenge to see and do everything. I think it needs an adaptive view to modify the layout somehow if the height is limited.
