By going to lds.org > Signing in and using the Tools drop down menu, about the 5th entry down, Patriarchal Blessing option.

This is assuming you are requiring a copy of your own Blessing!

There is nothing there to indicate you will receive a digital copy. I get the impression from the need to confirm/enter a mailing address that a paper copy will be mailed.

I think you are correct about that!
Just looking back at the OP, the request was how to order a digital copy, when you think about it that doesn't actually exist.
The instructions given will at least enable the paper copy to be ordered! If that is in fact was what was wanted! In my own case I scanned the document into a PDF format and now have it on my tablet!

Yes, I don't think they send digital copies. I just typed mine myself from the paper copy into a couple of Word documents – one for a full-sized page version, and one with smaller text for a quarter-page double-sided laminated bookmark I can keep with my print scriptures...

Someone I know marked up their digital copy with highlights, bullet points, footnotes, and cross-references! Maybe eventually patriarchal blessings will be included in the Gospel Library app or something for easier study (linked to your LDS Account).

Problems requesting partriarchal blessing online

The following link may help clarify whether or not you receive your patriarchal blessing electronically. As far as I know they only send them through the regular mail.

It's not integratable into Gospel Library, but you can create a PDF or other version of it and add it to your device in your e-books. Go to Lds.org, sign in, click on My Account and Ward, click on Patriarchal Blessing in the left hand column, and follow the directions from there to download or save a PDF file.

With the current version of Patriarchal Blessing tool, they do give you a digital PDF of your patriarchal blessing. It's displayed in the browser, stored permanently at LDS.org when you go to the Patriarchal Blessing tool again, and it can be downloaded. Mine is a scan. I'm curious if they are able to provide original digital copies (non-scans) for people who've gotten their blessings in the past couple of years.

If you use Microsoft Edge as your browser you should be able to add annotations in your browser at least.

It looks like not all patriarchal blessings have been digitized. Following the instructions given above I was able to request a digital copy. Upon submitting the request I got a pop up notifying me that a church historian would find my blessing and upload a digital copy.
