scheduling in building when meeting in another stake
Our relatively newly formed stake has a ward meeting in a building that belongs to another stake and we cannot schedule or see the schedule for that building. Is this a situation that will be resolved at any time in the future, or will we just have to exist in a vacuum concerning the activities in that building?

Either FM needs to add your stake to the building, or the agent stake needs to add your unit.
I'd bug the FM Group.

Re: scheduling in building when meeting in another stake
We have had a Ward from another Stake meeting in our building for the past 5-6 years. It has now been decided that they should have a turn at being the 'Agent' Bishop for the Wards meeting in the building. The question/problem that we need help with is how can this outside ward also be set up to schedule the building for all wards meeting/using the building. Typically LDS.tools does not allow access to members outside of specified Stake boundaries. Is there someway to add this other stakes ward to lds.tools to facilitate one of their members to be the new building scheduler?

You don't. The old model of all scheduling going though one person is unsupported. The day-to-day job of coordination is now managed by a computer. At minimum, each unit needs to schedule their own meetings. More commonly, each unit/quorum/auxiliary - in short everyone with access to adding events to their calendar handles it. The role of "Building Scheduler" is now one of settings rules (restrictions) and playing referee, not scheduling individual events.lvhamson wrote:The question/problem that we need help with is how can this outside ward also be set up to schedule the building for all wards meeting/using the building.
While this sounds like a recipe for total chaos, it's not. Normally, only leaders have scheduling abilities. If they can't play nice, you've got bigger problems.
As for making the building available to the other stake, a member of the stake presidency (including Secretary or clerks) can add that unit to the building. However, they can never be the building scheduler (in the new role). To do that, FM would have to work their magic with their database. But that would make the other stake the "owner" of that building.
