I cannot get all of my entries listed on a single day to print on the calendar and when I download to PDF the entries change on that date leaving off different ones each time.:(

This is a known problem.

I moved your post to the main thread regarding this problem; you can review the thread for additional information. In particular, you may want to review post #36; the technique described there might be a way to work around the problem while we're waiting for a fix.

The behavior is random as to what is dropped. I've tried eliminating some of our busiest calendar layers as an experiment and things are still disappearing. This will be a big problem for us if not fixed.

Is there a way to submit a trouble ticket to the calendar team?

I am having the same problem. I have just distributed a printout of the Stake's 2013 calendar draft and have discovered many missing events for the year on the printed pdf calendar even though the events are showing on the online calendar. Please help us or I will be forced to go back to Calendar Creator perish the thought!

URGENT--Calendar printing problems

I've read the thread and I'm having the same printing problem for our Stake Calendar for 2013. I think someone has tweaked the code in the last month or so causing this problem. I say that because not long ago the printout worked fine and matched precisely the created calendar.

Workaround: We've found we can print correctly if we download the calendar to Outlook. HOWEVER, even though all the events show, all we get is one line and no wraparound for longer event names. Sometimes this truncation of the event makes it unintelligible--thus this workaround is unsat but we're limping along with it.

THIS MUST BE FIXED BY JANUARY 1, 2013 WHEN THE CALENDAR GOES INTO EFFECT!! UP TO NOW ONLY A FEW USERS ARE INTERESTED, BUT JAN 1 THE HURRICANE WILL ENVELOP US ALL. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLP!!!

Thank you for your workaround. That is one more possibility folks may use until the problem is resolved.

One of the wonderful things about software is that, bugs and all, it is most often consistent. So in a small way it is encouraging to know that you are also having the same problem. As far as has been determined, this is, indeed, a universal problem.

As much as we all would like this bug to be fixed, I would suggest to you (and everyone else) that you plan as if this problem will not be fixed before the new year. And then, if it is, we will all have a bigger new year celebration.

Review of possible workarounds:

Change the starting time of an event (as little as one second will do it -- see post #36).
Export the calendar to another format (spreadsheet, Outlook, other calendar program, etc.).
Do not use the Calendar at all (a fairly extreme option, considering that most of the Calendar still works).

Same Problem here. Any progress with fix? This appears to have been going on for long time.

Define "a long time". The first post on this issue was November 18th of this year.

There will be no "progress report". It's fixed when it's fixed. Asking will not make it come any faster.

Calendar:printing multiple events at the same start time on the same date

To get the calendar to print events on the same date with the same start times, change the start time. For example, if 5 events on Thursday, Jan 3 have start a start time of 7:00pm, change each start time by seconds (7:00:01, 7:00:02, etc). The calendar will now recognize these events as separate events and will print all of these events on the same date.

This is helping - thank you to those that uncovered this. Has anyone figured a work-around for multiple all-day events (other than simply giving them times :))?
