As a stake presidency we find the private calendars function of LCR unecessarily complicated in managing interview scheduling. Is it possible to create functionality similar to other commercial products such as simplybook.me where interview schedules can be tailored to need of members, interviwers and location scgedules. This will enable member access through lds account to book interviews but have a built in confirmation / approval process through executive secretaries.

Re: Interview booking functionality
The best way to get suggestions in front of the decision makers is to use the feedback link on the main lds.org page, as well as talking with your presiding authority. All development comes from church priorities set by the brethren, it's not something the developers decide.

Re: Interview booking functionality
You may look into using http://10to8.com, this has worked well for our Stake Presidency and you might find it meets your needs as well. Members can sign-up for times that are available and will receive reminders for their appointments as well. Just something to consider. (I know this question was asked months ago, but it may help someone else.
