January 20 Update Broke iPad II

My iPad updated the Gospel Library version 4.3.0, 54.8 MB, January 17, 2019
I am running iOS 9.3.5 on an iPad II.
When I launch Gospel Library, the app seems to look like it is working and then stalls and after 20 to 30 seconds it kicks me back to the apps screen showing the Gospel Library icon along with other apps on the device.
I've restarted the device and it has the latest updates.

Mine Too!

IOS version 11.0.3 old iPad II. Ikon disappeared from settings :: can not delete old. Can not open update in Apps store.

Works fine on new 12.9 iPad with the same IOS version.

I'm guessing it's timing out during its startup process (iOS closes apps that take too long to launch). Here are some things you can try:
1) Restart your device. This may help free up some memory, for a faster launch.
2) Close all of your open programs by swiping them out of recent apps. This could also help free up some memory.
3) Check how much storage space you have remaining on the device. If the device is low on memory, it may be failing to download a content update.

I have 4 GB out of 16 available. I was getting messages about my iCloud being full for a couple of weeks, but I haven't seen that message for a week now.
