Gospel Library 4.2.0 for iOS has been released and is available on the iOS App Store. Here's what's new:

Features
* Updated the drop-down navigation menu and general navigation pattern.
* Improved go-to search suggestions to quickly jump to a scripture, hymn, or book.
* Included personal notes in search results.
* Updated search to only include exact phrase results when using quote marks.
* Added a new video player for general conference talks.
* App will now skip full session audio when listening to individual general conference talks.
* Updated the floating audio button.
* Added a Sort option for tags when adding a tag to a highlight or note.
* Added a new floating "+" button for notes, bookmarks, screens, and custom collections.
* Changed "Recent" to "All" and reordered tabs in the Notes section of the app.
* Changed app to remember the most recent tab in the Notes section of the app.
* Updated the sign-in screen and search bars throughout the app.
* Updated the placeholder text in the note editor.
* Added a new "Magenta" theme.
* Made minor string changes to be more consistent between iOS and Android.
* Updated UI translations in several languages.

Bug Fixes
* Fixed bug where the iOS control center switched from audio to video while listening.
* Fixed bug where the video play button showed on top of the speaker's face.
* Fixed bug where bold and italic didn't work properly in the note editor.
* Fixed bug where the related content sidebar became unresponsive.
* Improved support for iOS 11 and iPhone X.

Just tried to text a conference talk. "Send" icon no longer appears. Is that me or is that function no longer available?

The Share icon has been moved into the drop-down navigation menu. If you tap the title of the chapter, you will see it in the upper right corner of the screen.

All of a sudden I cannot listen to the ensign anymore the Audio function does not seem to be on the ensign. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you figure out a solution for getting the audio to work? I’m having the same issue. I have downloaded the audio at the top of the screen but then the audio button does not appear for the individual articles.

What am I missing? I downloaded the audio to the Ensign via the top of the page, but can’t access it. It’s driving me crazy!

For the January Ensign, it looks like only one article has audio (I'm not sure why). So when you downloaded "all" the audio for the Ensign, what the app did was download all the audio it had – which was only one article.

The update is not working at all on my iPad. It’s stuck at the Moroni statue icon and won’t go past that. i don’t want to delete it and start all over again. Any ideas?

A few people have reported this, though I'm not sure what causes it to happen. I'm guessing it's timing out during its startup process (iOS closes apps that take too long to launch). Here are some things you can try:
1) Restart your device. This may help free up some memory, for a faster launch.
2) Close all of your open programs by swiping them out of recent apps. This could also help free up some memory.
3) Check how much storage space you have remaining on the device. If the device is low on memory, it may be failing to download a content update.

My LDS library app on my i phone keeps reverting to the What's New? Welcome to the Gospel Library 4.0 page, even when I press skip, or done at the end of the pages. it shows m scripture page for half a second then reverts back to What's New? Welcome to the Gospel Library 4.0 I reset my phone and no change, thanks
