It seems like MLS should keep a history of records that were sent to address unknown. You browse the old records, see the full name and birthday are what you're expecting, and either click to request records back or maybe click to send further information. As I recall, this is also available, at le...

I tried to get to the calendar ( https://new.lds.org/church-calendar/ ) yesterday evening, and again this morning, but the page keeps auto-refreshing every two seconds in Firefox 3.6.11. In Chrome, it doesn't refresh, just doesn't show the calendar. Tried on three different computers. Anyone experi...

We have created a calendar for YW and another for YM. If the activity is a combined activity, then the event's posted on both calendars, otherwise events are only placed on the appropriate calendar. I assume that this causes a duplication on the calendar if one is subscribed to both. Is this an irr...

Calendar Best Practices

I am curious to know how people are handling combined YM/YW activities in the new calendar. I have created calendars for YM, YW, and YM & YW, but I'm not sure this is the ideal situation. Would it be better to duplicate the activity on the YM and YW calendars?

new.lds.org Calendar Issues

The feedback link isn't working for me. I've noticed a couple of issues when exploring the new calendar yesterday. If they are duplicates, I sincerely apologize. ⋅ Manage Location & Resources -> Building -> Edit Resources: If I attempt to add a custom resource, "Save Changes" fails (doesn'...

LDS Site Development Guide

Section 21.1.22 seems interesting to me. It references a "LDS Site Development Guide" that can be accessed by performing a search on lds.org. However, neither a search on lds.org nor on new.lds.org returned any relevant results.... Edit: Also "Internet Usage Helps for Members". These both appear in ...

In our ward, most husband & wife donations are linked to both members via the "merge donors" feature. My understanding is that this cannot be undone. This would seem to complicate the process. The only thing I could see to do in this situation would be to rename the primary donor to remove the spous...

I've got a wii, but I haven't seen how to stream movies other than Netflix with the Netflix disc. I imagine streaming byu.tv would require a custom wii program.

My goal was to make something that non-clerks/bishops could use, once they got the data. As such, I am trying to not include any information that is considered confidential. I don't think missions are, so I'll see about adding that. But temple recommends definitely are. At the same time, I can see h...

The FCC information has a "PO Box" field, and several people in my area entered both a physical address and a PO Box (though many with the PO-Box-only zipcode instead of the physical-address-zipcode). But it's definitely true that some will not be mappable. I will include these in the list just as w...
