Re: Month View shows 3 events, Week View shows 5

Month view only shows events for the building and calendar layers you have chosen. Week view will show you everything that is scheduled in the building you have selected. Including restrictions, and other units events.

This is probably what you are seeing.

Re: Is donation to scout camp tax deductible?

I would like to understand if it is the cost per attendee that is issue for our Ward (which for Girls camp is 100% driven by Stake) or maybe it is because our Ward is small but has fair amount of youth. Looking at your BSA Council camp fees and the price your stake charges for girls camp. I would h...

Re: Is donation to scout camp tax deductible?

The point is, if a ward or stake can't operate within the budget, I think a hard review of the principles and policies behind the activities is in order. Hands clapping, jumping up and down shouting; YES, YES, YES, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO SEES THE LIGHT. I could not agree with you more. Which is why I ...

Re: Is donation to scout camp tax deductible?

(in practice for these activities the Ward Budget itself is almost never sufficient due to cost of camps) I have to disagree with this statement. As a long time youth leader and a Ward Financial Clerk who has seen the total cost of camps paid for out of the Ward Budget along with funding of all oth...

Re: Is donation to scout camp tax deductible?

Our stake returns about $10,000 in unused budget funds to church headquarters every year. Why the $40 contribution from each participant? And please don't tell me its for participant buy in. If you stake has this much left over it would seem to me the "$40 contribution from each participant&qu...

Re: More options for specific rooms within a location

So do we list all these rooms so that each group can learn and know how to use the calendar and book their room, or do we go as status quo and let them use the rooms that they are accustom to and do not require them to schedule the room? Lets not forget that the calendar is there to schedule activi...

Re: Missionary donations

If missionaries receive income in, say Euros, but their home ward is in a country that uses Dollars, how does paying tithing to the home ward work? Do they have to calculate the conversion rates and convert their euros to dollars before sending it home to be entered? Or do they just pay to their mi...

Re: Senior Sister missionary support

Only the cost of housing is directly take out of the ward missionary account for senior missionaries. While senior missionaries are expected to cover all their costs, there is nothing that says the ward cannot help with the housing costs. All other expenses are to be directly covered by the individu...
