Re: Annual ward history template?

Having members share photos on a stake or ward Facebook page is a great idea. We started a stake page a few months ago. Would you need permission to include photos from there, since they are already published in the public domain? See item 6, here: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/pages/online-r...

Re: Product numbers

Our old catalog is from 2010 and it has numeric SKUs. I'll try to spend a little time in the Material Center today and see if anything older is squirreled away in a back corner.

Re: Annual ward history template?

I noticed that you omitted adding photos, which I think are an important part of the annual history. I am careful about adding photos of children, however, since you should ask parents for permission first. As a stake clerk, I recently sent out an email asking the wards to submit their history all ...

Re: Annual ward history template?

As ward clerk, this normally falls to me - we have never had a ward historian called in the 20 years I have lived in this ward. If I have a good assistant clerk to assign the coordination to, I do that. Here is what I do: - Ask each organization to provide information (1 paragraph to several pages, ...

Re: Product numbers

I don't know if it qualifies as "old" but I found one from somewhere around 2010-2012 last week. I almost tossed it, but decided it was not taking up space of anything else important and thought it might be useful to look through the pages. The new online store is dismal in my opinion.

I sent you a PM with my email address in it. Let me know where to send them and I'll send you a few examples from our ward.

Re: Stake clerk limitations with membership records

This is a limitation. I have found that I often train our stake clerk as much as he trains me, primarily for this exact reason. In the rare cases where the stake has brought ward clerks together to discuss challenges and share ideas it seems to have been very useful. I have found that there are area...

Re: LCR - Send message function - texting

I was added to a Remind list without my permission by a Stake leader organizing a choir for a special function. I don't recall any information provided as to how I could remove myself from the reminders or manage how often I received them (though that was a couple of years ago). I did not want to be...

Re: Moving a record when don't know destination

As an option we have had some success with: if the parents are members of the church, you can see what ward they are in from the child's record (click on the member's "Family" tab and click on the unit number listed next to their parents names (if they are both in the same ward/branch, you...
