Re: Just need to Teleconference

PVC can be used to just do a phone-type conference - I don't have access anymore but I know we've used it this way in the past...

There is also an audio conference available you can check it out here:

Re: How can I remove my subscription at the forum?

Go to your profile.. easiest way is probably just to hit the Private messages note in the top right corner.... go into the user control panel under Board Preferences (tab) and select 'notification settings' and adjust it there

Re: High Council Access to Send Email

:)The only question is whether it will take place by tedious cutting and pasting addresses, setting up personal mailing groups, or through the more efficient Clerk and Leader Resources email functionality that already exists. It seems the system was designed to limit, and nearly eliminate this kind...

Re: High Council Access to Send Email

The handbook does say that the quarterly report is submitted quarterly, but that the stake may ask for these numbers more frequently - I don't see the value of seeing them monthly to see trends, etc... however, at he local level, a couple months with a family not attending or a youth not attending i...

Re: High Council Access to Send Email

Based on my past experience - The level of frustration experienced at the Ward Level with items like this (High Counselors who started with good intentions, but ended up duplicating entire processes of reporting and communicating...), I became a ward clerk and saw our leadership sending out tons of ...

Re: Cannot see our missionary in online donations dropdown for our new ward

I thought this moved online years ago, is that not the case anymore? If the transfer of responsibility was put on-line, I'm not aware of it. It might have happened, but I can't remember it being mentioned here. Although, given that this affects two units, I suspect CHQ may want to be the arbitrator...

Re: Cannot see our missionary in online donations dropdown for our new ward

Last I knew this could all be handled through the system. Though, frankly, it was always easier to just send an MLS Message. This was an issue back in 2009, and is still one today. I wish there was a way for Bishops to have some kind of training about how this (and many other things) work, A fundame...

Re: Cisco 800 Series firewalls to be replaced

The church never really liked the idea of hotspot wireless for wan/internet. However I think the documents exist, my guess is you'll need a router that takes wireless fur the internet connection then feed it into the Meraki.

Then pray that FM is cooperative.

Re: LDSTech is dead?

It's true that the LDSTech site is no longer being updated, but the rest of your speculation is not true. There's lots of work being done on backend services, and we know that at least the Calendar online tool is in the midst of a major overhaul. Here the Calendar product manager said: "We are...
