Re: Announcing Changes to Emphasize the Correct Name of the Church of Jesus Christ

At my home computer I changed my bookmark to point to ChurchofJesusChrist.org. It worked just fine even though it was automatically redirected to lds.org. But it was kind of amusing that when I tried to do the same thing on the computer in the clerk's office, I get an error message that the new URL ...

Customized New Member Report

Am I missing something in the "Create a Report" section of the LCR? If I try to create a customized "New Member Report" of new converts 9 years or older for ONLY 2018 from scratch there isn't any way to run a report (or construct search criteria) of baptisms where the convert was...

Re: Households missing from directory

I am being told of a similar problem. Several people have reported that one individual is missing from the ward directory. He is on the stake High Council and he is missing from the stake leaders > High Council list as well. the other 11 high councilors are listed but he his missing. As the stake cl...

Re: Export Custom Reports in LCR to comma delimited file

Yeah, you'll have to create separate reports for each ward by specifying a specific ward in your search criteria. You only need to create one report but modify which ward is specified each time you run it.

Re: Export Custom Reports in LCR to comma delimited file

Yes. I'm assuming you are in the "Create a Report" section of the LCR and not the old MLS. Simply generate the report then click on the PRINT icon then select portrait or landscape orientation then click on the PRINT icon below those choices. A PDF document will appear on the screen. In Mi...

Re: Export Custom Reports in LCR to comma delimited file

I started this thread. That was my point in my original post that the LCR custom reports doesn't have the same capabilities as the MLS custom reports, particularly the ability to export to a CSV file and also that the MLS will eventually go away.

Re: Export Custom Reports in LCR to comma delimited file

Thanks for your response. I was afraid that was going to be the answer. It's going to become a lot more difficult to design custom reports that meet the needs of priesthood and auxiliary leaders.

Export Custom Reports in LCR to comma delimited file

I see that the ability to design custom reports has recently been added to the LCR. The tool seems somewhat similar to the custom reports tool in the MLS. This is great that it is now available in the LCR. However, in the MLS, when you generate a custom report you can save the report output to a com...

Re: Gospel Library Windows 10 crashes on opening

I'm having the same problem where trying to launch Gospel Library for Windows 10 PCs gets stuck at "Loading Annotations". It just sits there and spins forever. There seems to be a trend in this thread where the error occurs on ASUS Windows 10 PCs. I have this same problem on both my ASUS L...

Re: notes in lessons

If you want the ability to highlight and add notes to text in the lesson manual, simply copy and paste the entire text of the lesson into a word processor. When I paste it into Microsoft Word even the hyperlinks to scriptures come with it. The text and format of the Word document looks exactly like ...
