Re: Help need to,change account to member now

You need to ask your ward clerk for your membership number. There is a place to enter it under your profile. If you are a recent convert, the missionaries who taught you need to submit your completed baptismal record to the mission office before a church record can be created and a membership number...

Re: Update Causes Everything to be Re-Downloaded *BUG*

Have we figured out why this is happening? I've had this happen ever since the big app update happened a few months ago. I agree it's frustrating to be unable to use the app in class. Because the screen doesn't turn off with the app open on my tablet, I end up killing my battery.

Re: my lds accts go to my husbands as default

The problem is with how your internet browsers is set up, not the church's website. At some point in the past he asked to have the browser remember his name and password.

What browser and operating system do you use so that we can help you.

Re: Written transcript does not match speaker's words

That's nothing to be concerned about. Usually if there is a change between the transcript and what was actually said, it is usually the speaker who requests the changes, even in older talks given. That is why there is a gap between GC and when the talks are released. The speaker has the opportunity ...

Re: Mass Texts

When I sent out texts in my last two wards, we gathered people's cell provider and cell number and used Gmail to send out the text messages. ( I.e. 8015551234@vtext.com). T-Mobile did start to block us and not all low cost carries are supported. I don't use Twitter so I'm not sure if people who don'...

Re: visiting teaching problem

Make sure she is signing into an LDS account that is linked to her membership number. Often times spouses share an account in which case the account might be linked to her husband and won't work. Just making sure, her name has been inputted as the district leader and that was done more than 24 hours...

Re: Out of unit CES missionaries directory question...

Our CES missionaries are usually called to be YSA advisors since that more closely aligns with what they do.

Just remember after they leave to delete the OOU record. We had our last set still showing up in our ward for several months after they left since it doesn't automatically disappear.

Re: How do you create a membership record for a convert baptism?

Double check your ward records because they usually auto populate in their assigned ward after the mission office makes the record. Double check with your missionaries to also make they got the bishops signature and sent the record in to the mission home. Once you do find the record, double check to...

Re: Child's record move to singles ward, but remains on our ward home teaching

It's not unreasonable to believe that the old ward can still record the HT for some time after the move out. If she moved out in March, it would seem possible to still record the March visit until some time in April. I don't know if it's different for HT, but after someone moves out of my ward, I c...
