Anybody have suggestions for either maintaining an up-to-date list of ward members without completely starting over every time we get a change in membership and download another csv file from the ward website or how to convert the csv household information into a list of individuals in excel? Here ...

Yes - when we get to the point of recommending a solution it will be coupled with a strong recommendation to set up and test an audio backup that uses the PTSN.

If someone can describe the file format outlook can accept, I'd be willing to explore providing an export in that format. Zip doesn't seem to be it...

why not have a "rental" of streaming and projection equipment for stake conferences? regionally allocated equiptment (FM group, area, whatever) is being considered. there are companies that rent gear out for this very purpose - most of the ones I've seen are targetting the building-to-building prob...

In the Provo tech talk Mr(bro)(boss) Dehlin mentioned that "all" buildings by now were supposed to be broadband connected. There must have been a miscommunication. About 5000 buildings worldwide have been connected by a project approved by the Presiding Bishopric. The primary customer for these con...

The csv file is a little odd. It throws the email address into the "name1" and "name2" field along with the husband's and wife's names, respectively. This was an arbitrary decision (perhaps a bad one) that I made when creating the export together. I put two pieces of information in each name column...

would it be much trouble to include the "PHOTO" type in the vCard download, which would include the household's uploaded JPEG? Spec here: http://www.imc.org/pdi/ Does someone know how to handle the image encryption that the .vcf wants? The encoding is Base64 Content-Transfer-Encoding as defined on ...

One thing I would like to see with the calendar is a better "print" view. have you tried importing the ical file into a program that has better output capabilities? I know it isn't perfect, but may be the best way to deal with the problem for now. Has anyone successfully imported into calendar crea...

Exactly... so the question is, how can we affordably do this. As far as physically connecting the audio from your meeting to the bridge you have a few challenges. To get line-level audio injected into your phone system you'll need an EJ10 ( http://www.emtechelectronics.com/emtech/pages/products.jsp...

I have been trying to find a conf. call solution that is low cost. We have on average 5 shut-ins per ward and 10 cents a minute (the lowest I have found) is still to expensive. Do any of you have any leads on a phone solution? The Church has a contract with a large telecommunications provider that ...
