Re: Come Follow Me - For Individuals and Families format suggestion

I was not certain where to post this suggestion. If this isn't the right place would someone please let me know where to post it? Thanks in advance. This is as good a place as any until we determine more specifically what you are talking about. But in any case, please note that we are just a commun...

Re: Name Change

OK, so is it going to be Church of Jesus Christ Tools? I'm hoping for something like Gospel Tools. The official announcement only mentioned Gospel Library (keeping its name) and LDS Music (changing to Sacred Music). For all other apps, we just need to wait for announcements, following the counsel: ...

Re: Preventing others from adding names to family tree

If you believe the person was added in error, you could remove them from the parents or delete the record altogether. You can't delete a person that was added by someone else. You can only delete a person for whom you are the only contributor. I wouldn't recommend removing the person from family re...

Re: Intermediate Hymn in the new meeting format?

There's no intermediate hymn mentioned, but there are specific mentions of opening, closing, and sacrament hymns. I would interpret this to mean that as a general rule, there is no intermediate hymn in the new format. I don't see any change in the policy at all. The truth is that "as a general...

Re: obra bicaria

In addition to getting permission from the closest living relative, you must also be related to the person. See the First Presidency Letter of 29 February 2012. You cannot perform ordinances for an unrelated friend.

Re: Did You Know The "Help" Link Doesn't Help?

In that situation, you can use the "Forgot your username" and "Forgot your password" links on the login page to get help. Those links will take you to the Account Recovery page, which is indeed helpful. But it's also interesting to note that once you get to the Account Recovery ...

Re: 4 Sep 2018 Family Tree update

Apologies for voicing an opinion. There's no need to apologize. Voicing opinions is what we do here on the LDSTech Forum. In my response I was simply voicing my opinion. My thoughts still stand. I was hoping to have a discussion. That way we might be able to learn together. But if you have nothing ...

Re: Listening to gospel library off-line

Have been trying to download audio (Come Follow Me) from both the android app and from the computer app. Download options are there but don't seem to work. Trying to get the lessons for my blind neighbors. Any suggestions? What do you mean when you say the "download options ... don't seem to w...

Re: Tools Calendar - Add To Calendar

We, as mobile phone users, need the ability to add an appointment to calendars using the LDS Tools app. Either this or have LDS.org be mobile friendly. Have you tried to add an appointment to the LDS calendar on a smartphone? Any more thought to this? With the new year changes in meetings we need t...

Re: church sunday school come follow me question

I am confident that manuals in the future will only have 24 lessons (or perhaps 22 since general conference is usually held on the first week in April and October. Although the manual for next year may again be weekly, since we are supposed to be studying the gospel each day in our homes. Sunday Sc...
