Re: certificates
How about contacting the previous Ward? Maybe even the Bishop who was presiding at the time of the blessing will still be around, and then all will be correct.

Re: Recording Sunday School Attendance
How about just passing around a blank sheet of lined paper with a pen, and have them sign their name. There is your list, and it should be on one to two pages of paper.

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR
When I talked to Salt Lake, they said "Yes, your Stake is part of the testing of the new system", so if you aren't, it probably wouldn't show up.
What eblood66 said is absolutely correct. So, eblood66, is your Stake part of the beta too?

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR
On Sunday there was an option to do either in MLS. When I logged out, 'patches/updates' downloaded when I tried to log out of MLS. I went in Monday to the church to call Support. When I logged in to get everything ready on the computer for when I talked with them, there were more patches. When I fin...

Re: Entering Expenses on LCR
Thanks a lot. Yes, on our MLS there is an option to either do it by paper check or by ACH transfer. On MLS it tell us what to do step by step, but, I hadn't heard about it, but the beta test comment makes sense. I am going to purchase something for the Ward this week, maybe I will try and do it and ...

Re: Tax ID numbers....Does each Ward have one?
For future reference in a situation such as yours, I would recommend working through LDS Philanthropies. Your donation there can be directed to any of the Church contribution accounts, tithing, fast offering, etc. In the past, you could not contribute to a ward missionary fund, but it appears from ...

Re: Trumpets in Church
I just read the reference above, and noted the work 'prominent'. Also, I read about options for sources of accompaniments if organs/pianos are not available. On my mission to England in the mid '60s, we had a missionary who brought along his guitar on his mission (in fact there were at least two), a...

Entering Expenses on LCR
I am an experienced Financial Clerk, but have been away for a little over a year (long story). I first came upon this 'question' when doing some Expense work on MLS. On the form there was an option for "Electronic ACH Transfers". I found the same 'option' on LCR, Can someone direct me to w...
