Welfare resources help priesthood leaders and ward and stake welfare committees to help members with temporal needs.
Provident Living
The best online resource for leaders can be found at the Church's Provident Living website. In particular, the area of that site called "Helps for Church Leaders" (linked to from the left side navigation bar) has many resources such as:
- Providing in the Lord's Way: A leader's guide to Welfare
- Church Welfare Resources: A pamphlet that supplements Providing in the Lord's Way
- Welfare Training Lessons
- Instructional Resources for Welfare Teachers or Trainers (organized by topic)
The Provident Living site also has many helpful resources for members, such as financial calculators, worksheets, links to talks, etc. Priesthood and Relief Society leaders may choose to refer members to these resources as well.
