WAMulator Architecture

Back to WAMulator

As shown on the SSO Environment Simulator page the WAMulator listens on up to three ports. The proxy-port and proxy-tls ports use java.net.ServerSocket to listen on these two ports and translate bytes into http requests. In contrast, the console port is implemented with an embedded jetty server. See the links below for overviews of how the various parts of the WAMulator are constructed and perform their function. If you have areas that you would like to understand let the WAM team know and we'll get some detail added here. Some topics are not yet covered but are listed. If you would like to be notified when changes are made to this page you can sign-in and elect to watch this page and receive emails when we get more of these topics covered.
