Why is "communicate with me" collapsible?
I noticed that in your User page and in the many user pages you created, that the "Communicate with me" table has class="collapsible", which has the effect of creating the [Hide] link in the table title. That seems rather odd to me. I can see no real benefit to making that table collapsible, and the [Hide] link just muddies the text.
My guess is that the many cases where this has been done are simply copy and paste jobs, most likely going back to the user page of Tom Welch, who seems to have been the first person to do this. I don't know if he was just experimenting, or why he made that choice, but this convention seems to have propagated through the wiki, and I personally would vote to remove that class from all such tables.

- Yup, it's a cut and paste job from Tom's page. I don't mind one way or the other. After I finish putting the other stuff in for the YSA project, I can go back and remove the class="collapsible" from the user pages I created.

- Done. I just took out class="collapsible" from the pages I created. Techgurufloyd 04:26, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
