I know I can create a list of callings by organizations, but it only shows me the callings that are currently filled. I would like to know how to create a list of vacant callings that still need to be filled. This way we can juxtapose this list of available callings with a list of available members (members without callings) to identify potential matches.
Does such a feature exist?
- Please don't create a page in the main namespace of the wiki to ask questions. If you need to ask a question on the wiki, it should always be done in a Discussion page, such as this one. I have moved your question page to your User Talk page.
- But the wiki is not a good place to ask a general clerk question, because very few people will see it, and chances are that no one will answer it. You're much better off asking your question in the Leader and Clerk Resources section of the LDSTech forum. Your question will be seen (and answered) by many more people there.
- I'm guessing that you were referring to MLS in your question. Note that on Clerk Resources on LDS.org, the Callings by Organization report (on the Organizations menu) will show you all the callings for each organization. Those that are not filled will say "Calling vacant" in the Name column. So I think that will give you what you need. -- Aebrown (talk) 12:14, 14 January 2014 (MST)
Thanks! Good to know. I'm still trying to get my bearings on this site; I thought I did post to the forum. Now that I know I did not, I am trying to find a way to post to the forum, but I can’t seem to find out how. Yes, I was referring to MLS and it sounds like you answered my question. I will see if I can print out a list of callings without members using this approach. Thanks again!
